I live in a condo on the beach in Edmonds, just north of Seattle, WA.
I am a serious business professional. I spend a lot of time traveling, working and volunteering. Those I associate need to be goal oriented and actually on a path to achieving at least some level of success.
My ex-husband and I divorced a little over a year ago and I am looking for a fresh start. I am normally on facebook, so if you really want to chat with me you should "friend"
I am ambitious and outgoing and have always have an entrepreneurial spirit. I love challenges! In fact if you tell me I cant do something...I will most likely find a way to accomplish it...at least pertaining to the business world.
I have always been "self-employed." I started my first company when I was in high school and have been going strong ever since. In 2009 The Seattle Times labeled me as a "serial entrepreneur."
It is hard for many people to keep up with my high octane lifestyle. I am energetic and when I set a goal I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I will achieve it. Dreams are simply goals with deadlines. I devise my action plan to accomplish it and even though the date may need to be changed from time to time, I have never failed. The only way I will fail is if I give up and quit.
I am constantly striving to to take my life to the next level. Which is why I am writing my second book which is titled "Mediocrity Epidemic."
Ones goals must be committed to paper and become tangible if they are serious about obtaining them. This process of achieving one's goals is an art form that must be mastered if the the individual actually wished to reach the heights of success...in whatever endeavor they choose! Your definition of success can be completely different than my definition of success. That is what is so amazing about it!
Once I commit my goals to paper I develop an action plan to achieve them. It's kind of like a day by day instruction book of what I must do in order to accomplish the ultimate goal...or end result. So...goal setting is a very important part of life, and I spend at least 30 minutes a day reviewing my goal statements and the actions I am taking to accomplish them.
If that sounds excessive you will just have to deal with it! The life plan for "Dustin Mitchell" doesn't include drowning in a sea of mediocrity, nor does it include working at a dead end job, for a boss that I hate, being paid less than I am worth, so that I can go home and play with toys I purchased on credit because I live above my means.
MY LIFE PLAN IS TO HAVE THE ULTIMATE LIFE! TIME FREEDOM! FINANCIAL FREEDOM! But must importantly the ability to give back to the world and help "heal the world" that we've seemingly destroyed.
